learnpipe search widgets enable you to add customised search
functionality to your web site / intranet. You can define what
providers are included in the search results. Possible uses include:
Example 1: A company that sells Cisco hardware may wish to define a
widget that includes Cisco training specialists only.
Example 2: A group or association may wish to limit search to their
member companies or providers that they have vetted.
Example 3: A company may wish to define a widget that includes their
approved training vendors only.
The widgets can be any size or format. To implement, you just need to
select the filter criteria (ex. location) or select the providers,
then embed Javascript on your web site / intranet and you're done. Its
that simple!

Never mind your country, its learnpipe that needs you!
Over the last few months, we've watched as the number of language related searches on learnpipe has soared. This should be good news but we know that a lot of our searchers are not finding the information they require.
Why? ....
To date, we haven't managed to attract sufficient numbers of instructors with the language skills that are being searched for.
We require more (a lot more) instructors with that can deliver project management courses in French, assertivenesss courses in Italian, Java courses in German and so on.
We need more instructors who specialise in teaching language courses: English, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Italian, French are all being searched for on learnpipe everyday.
So help us to help people find you. Create an instructor profile with us. Its free!

New Feature Planned - Feedback Appreciated

We've added some great new features including:
1. Search Activity Monitor - See where people are searching from and what courses are being displayed. The pin is placed at the searchers location, the course details are included on the bubble.

2. Twitter Integration - learnpipe now supports enquiry notification via Twitter. Login, click update Account and add your twitter username. Be sure to check the 'Twitter Notification' check box.
3. GUI Overhaul - we've tweaked learnpipe's GUI to improve the way search results are presented and provide for easier navigation. The changes are subtle but make a big difference.
4. Much Faster Search - learnpipe's core search technology has been upgraded. Search results are now returned much quicker and this is with a far larger data set.
5. Enhanced Web results - Inspired by Yahoo's SearchMonkey. See Example here learnpipe uses two data sources: structured (data published to us) un-structured (web pages that we've indexed).
Enhanced / richer web is important in better integrating our two data sources. Notice how we've included some key information along with several links to different learnpipe sections related to the vendor. This really enhances the value of our web results. FINDING THE RIGHT TRAINING COURSE JUST GOT A WHOLE LOT EASIER
Cork, Ireland (learnpipe) December 22, 2008 -- Its almost New Year's resolutions time again but before you head to Google to find your next training course, check out a start-up called learnpipe. learnpipe is a new breed of search service called a vertical or specialised search engine. Since learnpipe only offers learning related search results, you avoid the noise that you can get from Google. John Dineen is the Founder & CEO of learnpipe: 'Don't get us wrong. This enables us to scale learnpipe very quickly and means that our search results are more comprehensive than ever before. Our 'Web' tab displays results like you get in Google.
